John Thwaites
Professor at Monash University and President of the Monash Institute for Sustainable Development and the Climateworks Centre. He is also president of Melbourne Water, president of the Biodiversity Council and director of Fair Trade Australia & New Zealand. John is co-chair of the SDSN Leadership Council, launched by the United Nations Secretary-General to provide expert advice and support for the development and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. He is also the President of the SDSN Association, which manages the SDSN network around the world.
